- 4 cups water
- 4 teaspoons rooibos tea leaves or 4 rooibos tea bags
- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium-sized pot.
- Remove from heat and add rooibos tea leaves or tea bags. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a large pitcher if using loose leaves, or remove tea bags.
- Stir in honey or agave syrup while the tea is warm. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Slice the ripe peaches. Optionally peel for a smoother juice.
- Blend the peaches with lemon juice until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother juice.
- Pour the peach juice into the pitcher with the rooibos tea and stir gently.
- Adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour the chilled mixture over the ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and optional peach slices.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

- Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best flavor, combine the tea and peach juice just before serving.
