These rich and fudgy Nutella brownies are a quick and easy treat made with just a few simple ingredients. Perfect for any occasion, they offer a delightful chocolate flavor and can be customized with chocolate chips or nuts. Enjoy them warm with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra special dessert!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240g) Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil (optional, for extra fudginess)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, scoop out 1 cup of Nutella. If desired, soften it in the microwave for easier mixing.
  3. If using, add 1/4 cup of vegetable oil for extra fudginess.
  4. Crack in 2 large eggs (preferably at room temperature) and mix with a whisk or hand mixer until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  7. If desired, fold in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips for added richness.
  8. Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  9. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes.
  12. Carefully lift the brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper. If not using parchment, run a knife around the edges and flip them out onto a cutting board.
  13. Cut into squares (about 2 inches each) with a sharp knife.
  14. Optionally, dust the tops with powdered sugar for a decorative touch.
  15. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a delightful treat!
  16. If there are any leftovers, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
