Enjoy a flavorful Garlic Chicken Spinach Pizza with a crispy crust, topped with a savory garlic chicken and fresh spinach mix, creamy ricotta, and a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Ideal for a quick weeknight meal or a fun gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. If using store-bought pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Add cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  7. Toss in chopped spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add red pepper flakes if desired. Remove from heat.
  8. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  9. Layer the garlic chicken and spinach mixture over the ricotta evenly.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, followed by grated Parmesan cheese.
  11. Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. Monitor the pizza during the last few minutes to prevent overcooking. Cover edges with aluminum foil if browning too quickly.
  13. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
  14. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
  15. Slice the pizza into wedges and serve hot, pairing it with a side salad or garlic bread.
  16. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
