A creamy, tropical mojito with white rum, lime, mint, and coconut cream.

- 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (or simple syrup to taste)
- 2 ounces white rum
- 4 ounces coconut cream
- 2 ounces lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 4 ounces club soda, chilled
- Lime slices and mint sprigs, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Muddling the Mint and Lime: In a sturdy glass (a highball glass works best), gently muddle the mint leaves with the lime wedges and sugar. Be gentle to avoid releasing bitter compounds. If using simple syrup, skip muddling the sugar.
- Adding the Rum: Pour the white rum into the glass over the muddled mint and lime.
- Coconut Cream Infusion: Add the coconut cream to the glass. Shake the can of coconut cream well before measuring.
- Lime Juice Boost: Add the freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Stirring the Mixture: Use a long spoon to gently stir the mixture in the glass until well combined. Ensure the sugar dissolves completely (if using granulated sugar) and the coconut cream is evenly distributed.
- Adding Ice: Fill the glass almost to the top with ice cubes. Crushed ice is preferred.
- Topping with Club Soda: Top the glass with chilled club soda. Pour slowly to prevent overflowing.
- Gentle Stirring (Again!): Give the mojito one final gentle stir to combine the club soda with the other ingredients. Be careful not to over-stir.
- Garnish Time: Garnish the mojito with a lime slice and a sprig of fresh mint.
- Serving Immediately: Serve the mojito immediately and enjoy!

- Adjust sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar/simple syrup.
- Coconut cream is recommended over coconut milk for a richer texture.
- Experiment with spiced rum or a splash of pineapple juice for variations.
